About the artist
The late teenage years saw Moore exploring the Colourado Rockies, surrounded by scented pine trees and beautiful columbines. The breathtaking mountain scenes she encountered influenced and found a place in her colour photography.
Moore then embarked on visual adventures to California and Montana. Here, she learned from the greats such as Ansel Adams, Ruth Bernhard, V.M. Robertson, and Ralph Cooksey-Talbott. Furthering her education, she acquired her MA in Fine Art Photography at California State College of Fullerton, under the mentorship of Eileen Cowin and Darryl Curren.
Setting up a home in scenic northern Vermont with her family, Moore returned to colour photography. She observed the changing seasons - summer, fall, winter, and spring, capturing nature's rhythm through her lens. In 1987, she established Haymaker Press, where she published her personal collections of images from Vermont, Maine, Cape, and the Adirondack.
