About the artist
Ronalds utilised her talent to catalogue various fruits and flowers. Not only did she portray those found in her family's nursery, but she also depicted exotic species from nearby Kew Gardens and the RHS garden. Her efforts supported her father and brothers in broadening their stock inventory.
Apples were a recurring theme in her work, reflecting the nursery's specialty.
