About the artist

Born in the early 80s, this artist developed an affection for silversmithing at the tender age of 15. The initial spark was ignited when they attended an evening class with their grandpa, a pursuit they continued until leaving home to study 3D crafts at Brighton University.

Graduating in 1999, they established their workshop at Cross St. Studios in Hove, which served as their creative hub for the next 11 years. In this space, they launched their business, focusing on crafting a variety of silver charms and originating their distinctive Polaroid drawings.

A consistent illustrative theme is present in their evolving work. Their jewelry creations transitioned from miniature kitchen utensils to delicate drawings on coins. Their kitchen interior drawings have expanded to include printmaking and hand embroidery on vintage textiles.

Inspiration is drawn from everyday household objects, with a passion for repurposing materials steeped in history into something fresh and aesthetically pleasing. Currently residing in the West Country alongside their husband and two young sons, they continue to find joy in the creation and evolution of their work.
