About the artist
Hannah Coles lives and works in Brighton where she has a loft studio.Hannah pursued a degree in illustration. Post-graduation, she embarked on a freelance illustrator career. Eventually, she showcased her paintings at Brighton's Open House Trail during the annual festival. This event, which lets artists open their homes or studios to the public, provided Hannah with a platform to discuss and exhibit her art. Such exposure led to increased exhibitions and publishing opportunities. For several years, she's been fortunate to paint full-time.
Hannah uses acrylics and a hairdryer to work at rapid pace. She dreams of experimenting with watercolours someday. Her inspirations are wide, from seaside walks, children's drawings, and everyday observations to Pinterest dives, music, and books. Hannah keenly observes daily life, capturing moments and studying colour compositions.
