About the artist
Not only was Monica a skilled artist, but she was also a goose-breeder. Her talents in poster design were showcased in the 1920s when she created numerous posters for London transport, specifically for the London County Council Tramways.
Her work continues to be a source of inspiration as examples of her artwork are showcased at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Rawlins died in 1990.
