About the artist
Kem McNair, an artist well known since the mid 60s, found his passion in surfing and surfboard art. He has embellished over 10,000 surfboards with his artwork, using techniques such as airbrushing, hand painting, and laminating. Over 45 years, his enchanting illustrations and fine art, rooted in his love for art, music, nature, and the ocean, have been influenced by his experiences surfing and photographing in stunning locales worldwide. Kem doesn't limit himself to one medium, expressing his art through oils, acrylics, and watercolours. He captures nature, beaches, and subjects that he envisions as future paintings with his photography.
