About the artist
Sam's creativity isn't an around-the-clock affair. She can churn out a mini masterpiece within an hour when the creative juices are flowing just right. However, there are these delightful months where she perfects the art of running in circles, filling her waste basket with rejected drafts, until the light bulb moment strikes. Funnily enough, the best pictures are the least struggle.Art wasn't exactly on Sam's radar as a career, or even as a talent. However, when she did find herself doodling for a living, she embraced it with her usual gusto and determination. She's built a livelihood from sketching her army of make-believe mates. Talk about turning childhood awkwardness into adult productivity!
She's had her fair share of luck and can coose only to work with those she respects, trusts, and genuinely enjoys. Like her creation, Mr Mustard, she relishes her solitary strolls along the seaside or through nearby woods, her faithful pets by her side. She daydreams, away from distractions, finding solace in silence. Much like her art, her life is an amalgamation of resilience, optimism, and an undying sense of humor.
