About the artist
He designed many magazine ads for the Renault car company between 1923–27 and later collaborated with fashion designer Paul Poiret in 1928, under the pseudonym "Wurci directory of luxury Pan". His other notable works include illustrations for the Monte Carlo Rally (1931), a poster for PLM (1937), decorations for the first Caravelle (1957), A Gallery Cathedral (1958), and the Boeing 707 (1960s). In the 1980s, he served as Painter of the Army, including designing the cover of the national holiday program (1982).
Falcucci married Odile Ginioux in 1924 and they raised seven children together.
