About this artwork

'Acrobat' is a whimsical creation by Pablo Picasso that beautifully represents the dynamic flexibility of an acrobat's body, confined within a square frame. Despite its surrealistic representation of the performer, Picasso has kept some aspects of the original human form intact. Picasso was the pioneer of the biomorphic art genre, a style that concentrated on portraying living forms like plants and the human body in an abstract yet organic manner. It's a high-resolution digital print on Tintoretto 250gsm paper.
