About the artist
Brothers Jacques Bellenger (1903–1985) and Pierre Bellenger (1909–unknown) were a notable French duo known for their many Art Deco advertisement posters primarily released in the 1930s. Despite little information being available about them, the Bellenger Brothers left a considerable mark in the design world. Their notable work includes designs for brands like Favor Cycles, Bourin Quinquina, Sud Boisson Gazeifiee, and Cristal Eaux Minerales. The Bellenger name has since become well-recognised and admired amongst poster enthusiasts due to their unique and compelling designs.
