About this artwork

Nick Cranston's work was sparked by the discovery of authentic mid-century luggage tags. He has a big crush on the aesthetics of that period. Even the smallest items like luggage tags and matchboxes were rendered with such incredible design sensibilities. His creations are a homage to that beautiful mid-century style. He has a special affinity for the texture and touch of the printing techniques used during that time. He's quite fond of the ink and the flaws... both elements he mimics digitally in his own art.

Unframed prints are usually shipped on the next working day if ordered before 2pm. Framed items can take one or two working days longer with our experts in the framing workshop.

Express services:

Express service for unframed print and posters by Royal Mail Special Delivery to arrive the next working day for an additional cost. Framed prints are always shipped by express courier.

Shipping Fees:

UK - £3.95 for unframed items by 1st Class Packetpost
UK - £6.90 for unframed items by Royal Mail Special Delivery
UK - £8.95 for framed items.

International - Shipping is calculated before you check out according to destination.
International - Unframed by Registered AirMail or by premium express courier (select at checkout).
Very large prints are always sent by express service.
International - Framed by premium express courier (select at checkout).

About the artist

Nick Cranston, a South African native, completed his Bachelor of Arts in Design & Illustration at the University of Wales, Swansea between 2001 and 2004. He made a name for himself as a freelance Creative Designer until 2013 when he started at Newhaven's King & McGaw as a Senior Creative Designer.

Cranston now lives in Brighton in the UK. His artistic style stands out for its vibrant colours, sleek lines, and bold geometric forms. Cranston's portfolio includes and impressive collection of whimsical travel posters and striking typographical prints with more than a little nostalgia.
