Later, he pursued his Masters in Painting from Savannah College of Art and Design. He made Atlanta his home, where his art pieces are cherished nationally and globally. Burns has a lifelong passion for art.
Creative inspiration comes to Burns naturally, and it all starts just by holding the art supplies. However, he admits that sometimes it takes a while to get into the creative groove. He loves playing with the viewers' perception through his abstract art, which is marked by shimmering blocks of colours representing sky, sea, and land, sometimes subtly rearranged to challenge the usual perspectives.
