About the artist
Further refining her skills, Krasner studied under the revered Hans Hoffmann from 1937 to 1940. Her personal life intertwined with her professional when she married fellow artist Jackson Pollock in 1945. Her creativity peaked in the 1950s with the creation of the Night Journey series. Krasner's life and artistic endeavors ceased on June 19, 1984, in New York City. She remains a celebrated figure in the world of abstract art.
