About the artist
Raised in Carson City, Nevada, Jamie Kingham discovered his love for photography. Initially fascinated by the timeless classics of Ansel Adams and Edward Weston, his fascination shifted to high-end European fashion seen in Vogue. After his studies at the University of Nevada, Reno, Jamie's global aspirations led him to Australia, documenting the people and lifestyle. In 1996, he relocated to London, immersing himself in European imagery and drawing inspiration from well known photographers. Now a Brooklyn resident, his photographs blend his American roots with European influences. Besides fashion and portraits, he seeks inspiration from Nevada's mountains, Brooklyn streets, and world beaches. Jamie, an exhibitor in New York, Germany, and London, is currently focusing on nature's graphic element in his personal work.
