About the artist
An artist and designer originally from Nottingham, Griffin studied sculpture under Joseph Else at the Nottingham School of Art. He created a myriad of commercial work for companies such as British Railways and British Overseas Airways Corporation, and also for various shipping firms. From 1970-1976, Griffin was an active member of the SGA, ROI and NS. His work was showcased at the RA, RSA, LG, and RSMA, among other places. His home was in London.
