About the artist
For over three decades, Flo Smith has carved a niche as a photographer, focusing on fascinating people and places. Her work has been globally recognised, commissioned by various agencies, and featured in numerous publications. Intriguingly, three of her portraits, including one of Paul Smith, graced the National Portrait Gallery's 80s-themed exhibition. The 1990s recession led her into post-production at Soho Images, a unique London lab where she tackled challenging film projects.
Following a move from London, she embraced digital technology and rejoined still photography, capturing her surroundings in Chichester and reverting to her passion for portraiture. With her trusty vintage Nikon lenses still at hand, she continues her craft with a touch of old-school charm in the modern world.
