About the artist
Inspired by her great-uncle George, Deborah Schenck discovered her passion for photography during her college years. In her 20s, armed with a Hasselblad camera, she embarked on a year-long global journey. Starting with polaroid transfers, Deborah refined her artistic skills in Boston, collaborating with Polaroid. Her fascinating work caught the attention of Chronicle Books, San Francisco, and she became a sought-after artist. Licensing her creations for various products, such as stationery, wall art, and soft furnishings, Deborah's love for the natural world blossomed during her time in Vermont, USA, and as an artist-in-residence in The Loire Valley, France. Currently residing in Devon, UK, she draws daily inspiration from the ocean and the surrounding nature.
