About the artist
David Lorenz Winston, an internationally acclaimed photographer, is known for his nature photography, particularly his well known image "Solitude." This fascinating photograph captures a snow-covered tree and zigzag fence in Philadelphia's western suburbs, garnering over 400,000 published imprints. From 2004 to 2017, David resided in Southern Oregon, where he drew inspiration from its breathtaking landscapes. Since 2017, he has been living in Mexico's Lakeside area, capturing the vibrant essence of life in the lakeside villages. David holds a B.A. in art from Pennsylvania State University, showcasing his lifelong passion for nature and humanity. His work encompasses diverse locations, including Siberia, Peru, India, Nepal, Tibet, Pennsylvania, and the Pacific Northwest, where he currently resides. Winston's exceptional images have been showcased in numerous national solo and group exhibits, earning him numerous first place and best of show awards.
