About the artist
Born in London in 1955 to Irish lineage, Christopher Corr achieved his Graphic Design degree at Manchester Polytechnic before earning a prestigious Leverhulme Travelling Scholarship to the USA in 1979. He later secured a masters at the Royal College of Art, taking home the RCA Drawing Prise. His work, which has been presented in over a dozen solo exhibitions since 1983 and influenced heavily by his extensive travels, garnered awards such as the Chelsea Arts Club Graphics Prise, Lloyds Bank Printmaking scholarship, and more. His contributions include a millennium stamp for the Royal Mail, artwork for Quantas, and posters for several organizations.
