About the artist
Carina Carina Prigmore, an artist who studied Art & Design at the University of Wales, Cardiff and obtained a BSc Honours in Conservation Biology from the University of Aberdeen in 2006. Her artwork has been showcased in prestigious exhibitions such as the "Wildlife Artist of the Year" by the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation at London's Mall Galleries, the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art in Liverpool, and Art and The Animal Kingdom at the Bennington Centre for the Arts in Vermont, USA. Having grown up in Sweden, her paintings draw strong influence from my Scandinavian heritage. However, it is the awe-inspiring Scottish landscapes that serve as her primary inspiration.
