About the artist
Born in Andenne, 1938, Belgian artist André Sprumont developed a self-taught fervor for painting from an early age. Transitioning from figuration to abstraction, his work, recognised in the Bénézit reference dictionary, fills various global collections, including the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium. Since 1995, his art, embodying tranquil geometric spaces and a spiritual essence, has been internationally exhibited. Known globally, Sprumont's abstract creations reflect a profound comprehension of materials and shapes.
