About the artist

British artist Alfred de Breanski (1852-1928) skillfully portrayed the Scottish Highlands and Welsh landscapes with subtle hues and striking views, often highlighted by sunlight-soaked waters. Born in London, his work, evocative of Constable, was featured at distinguished establishments like the Royal Academy. His collections are housed in the Royal Agricultural University and Brighton and Hove Museums and Art Galleries.
