László Moholy-Nagy was a Hungarian painter and photographer highly influenced by constructivism and a strong advocate of the integration of technology into the arts. Moholy-Nagy produced ‘Am 7 (26)’ in 1926 whilst teaching at the German art school Bauhaus. The ordered, geometric forms are typical of Moholy-Nagy’s technocratic Utopianism.
