Jamie Kingham, first kindled his love for photography in his hometown of Carson City, Nevada. Initially fascinated by the timeless works of famed photographers Ansel Adams and Edward Weston, he gradually gravitated towards the glossy pages of Vogue and the European high fashion landscape. After earning his degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, Jamie set his sights on global exploration, leading him to relocate to Australia. There, he chronicled the local life and culture through his lens.
In 1996, Jamie made his way to London, immersing himself in the rich tapestry of European imagery. He worked closely with some of the era's most recognized image creators, drawing huge inspiration from Europe's landscape, fashion, and portrait photography.
Upon spending a decade in London, Jamie moved to Brooklyn, New York. His current photography is a unique fusion of his American roots in Nevada and the European aesthetics absorbed during his overseas stint. Though still active in the fashion and portrait sector, he dedicates much of his spare time to draw inspiration from Nevada's mountain ranges, Brooklyn's buzzing streets, and the world's sandy beaches, meticulously observing their textures, faces, and patterns.
Jamie's work has been showcased in New York, Germany, and London. Currently, he's focusing his artistic energies on exploring the graphic aspects of nature and his personal interpretation of the everyday.
